Frequently talking (and thinking) in running metaphors…I can tell you that we are rounding the corner of the track and heading into a 400 meter interval. Running timed intervals of 400 meters or Quarters was an almost mythical event in college. Every Wednesday was a “Speed Work-out” that would give me dry heaves, but Quarters was especially dreaded. But like all great challenges, the rewards of completion out weighed the painful process to getting there.
Our top priority right now is the the creation of Checkbook for the iPhone.
Keith has been hard at work conceptualizing and programing, while Randy is answering support e-mails, and I am turning our “Help” documentation into screencast/tutorials.
By the end of this year, we will be rolling out the much requested Checkbook companion app. The “Getting Started” portion of our help will be converted in time for the release of our Newsletter in October. It’s going to come down to some sleepless nights, we know that users have been waiting quite a while for this app. We want it to Exceed your expectations.
This is a big part of what has made this project so daunting for us. Expectations, yours and ours, are like snowflakes rolling down a hill. Gathering more speed and girth each passing day.
Luckily, I carry a blow torch with me at all times 🙂 Our iPhone app will be the powerfully, simple companion for Checkbook. Intuitive, like the original, this new companion app will work together with the program you already love to keep you in control of your finances.
As always, we will be open to feedback and together, with our hard work and your suggestions, our products will continue to evolve.
