When iOS 5 Attacks!

Surprising tidbit in our inbox this morning: audiobook chapters are MIA in the Music app on iPads running iOS 5.
 
A few minutes o’ testing and info-scrounging and it looks like the scoop is true.  It’s not just Audiobook Builder audiobooks – even official iTunes Store audiobooks have the same issue. And that’s not all… Forum-goers at MacRumors have noticed the 30-second repeat and playback speed controls are missing, too. Say it ain’t so! Skip forward/back still navigates between chapters, classic iPod-style, so there’s that. Nothing seems amiss on iPhone – chapters and all playback controls are still there.
 
We’ll send a bug report Apple’s way in a little bit. Done :).
