When you’re ready for CheckBook Pro, you won’t have to re-enter any of your Accounts or Entries because all of your data is stored in a document you can open in either application. Here’s what to do:
- Open CheckBook so you can see your data.
- Go to the File menu near the top left corner of your screen and click the Show in Finder menu item. Your document will be highlighted in the Finder.
- Quit CheckBook.
- Open CheckBook Pro.
- Click the Finder icon on your Dock.
- Drag the highlighted document from the Finder to the CheckBook Pro icon on your Dock.
That’ll do it. Your data will appear in CheckBook Pro automatically going forward, just like in CheckBook. If you have any questions along the way, shoot us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help out!
